OUR STORY

Triax Metal Products was founded in 1973 under the name Beaverton Parts Manufacturing with a primary focus on machining. Owned by Gary Sears, it operated in less than 1,000 square feet with 5 employees. As the business grew, the company expanded its capabilities to include fabrication of sheet metal components. Subsequently, the business name was changed to Triax Metal Products. In 2008, after the unexpected and untimely passing of Mr. Sears, the company is now owned by three enthusiastic employees including the president, Dave Pofahl.

We've come a long way. Today, staffed with 70+ experienced and dedicated employees, we occupy a 65,000 square foot facility and provide true "one stop shopping" which includes machining, sheet metal fabrication, complete finishing services including painting and silkscreening and mechanical assembly. Although our business was traditionally aimed at high tech industries, we've learned that diversifying into other markets has helped keep us strong and stable.

As we've grown, we've kept pace with those programs that are requirements or simply important to many of our customers. We're ISO 9001 certified, ITAR registered, utilize an MRP system for scheduling and planning which includes real time reporting and offer a variety of delivery options to accommodate what our customers need. We've evolved to be very structured, oriented to precise record keeping and documented procedures in every facet of what we do. This is evidenced in our comprehensive Quality Policy.

All along, we've partnered with entrepreneurs and established companies to help bring their products to market. As we look to the future, we strive to seamlessly integrate our manufacturing services within our customer's production process. With today's critical time-to-market demands, we aggressively strive to reduce lead time, delivering product when it's needed.
